Pfaff Fall Sales Event!

From now until December 24th, Sew Easy is participating in the Pfaff national flyer promotion.  Look for our flyer in the Oct 24th issue of the Coast Reporter, or come into store to pick one up! You can see everything that’s on special, including two new machines from Pfaff!

machineTop-SbP_260c_1The Smarter by Pfaff 260C is a great machine, with direct stitch selection, digital stitch length and width adjustment, needle up down button (perfect for when you want to turn corners without losing your position), and a start stop button, for easy foot-less sewing. All this wrapped in an attractive package, it also comes with an extension table, and all for only $589 (total savings $160).

key-features-expression-3_5_large-spaceThe Expression 3.5 is the other new machine from Pfaff. It replaces the Expression 3.2, by integrating the automatic thread snips that are popular on the expression 4.2. It also shares many of the features with the 4.2, including (but not limited to): free-motion mode, integrated dual-feed technology (IDT, which feed fabric from both the top and the bottom), 37 needle positions for perfect stitch positioning, and too many other features to list here! The price on this machine during the fall flyer is $1849, and comes with a free folding sewing table (total savings of $649).

These specials are only on until December 24, so if you see something you like, make sure to remind everyone that Christmas is coming.  Of course with all Pfaff sewing machine purchases, a one hour private lesson is given to familiarize yourself with your new machine, and all Pfaff machines come with a 1 / 5 / 20 year warranty (one year parts and labour, 5 year electrical parts, and 20 year mechanical). If you have any questions at all, please stop in and find out more!

Easter 2014 Hours!

Happy Easter!

Sew Easy is under new ownership (in case you didn’t know)! The old owners have decided to retire after nearly 15 years, and Jenny and Alton are the new faces (along with their young daughter Sara). Feel free to stop in and say hi, introduce yourself, and let us know what it is you like to make. We know this website is horribly out of date, and we’ll be overhauling (or replacing) it as soon as we have some time. In the meantime, we are open for parts of Easter weekend!

November 11 Hours

Sew Easy will be open from Noon to Four for your after-the-cenotaph shopping. See you there!

Happy November. Love that extra hour today!

I’m off to the store for the Sunday noon to four shift. Will any knitters gather with their projects? There are a lot of knitting needles waiting to be put away. That should be fun! It’s so sunny and beautiful out, but maybe knitters will want to gather anyway!

Fingerless Gloves boxed project set Sew Easy Sechelt

Or you can come on in and pick out your own yarn from our huge selection!

They?re great for the fall and the start of school. The combination of stitches separates these gloves from most other patterns. It takes a bit of extra work, but they?re beautiful when complete and well worth the effort.

Make sure to send us a picture of your gloves in action.

Meet Punky, the Sew Easy Mascot Monkey

Punky is going on a road trip around the Sunshine Coast for the next couple of months and we’re going to play a game of ‘Guess who got Punk’d!’

We’ll post photos of Punky exploring secret places on our Facebook page… guess correctly where he is and you’ll be entered into a weekly draw for Punky Stuff.

And hey, if you know where Punky is hanging out in this picture, have a guess!
